Hartwall Capital, a family-owned investment company focusing on building long-term value through investments in private equity and listed companies, is seeking motivated Investment Interns to join our team in Helsinki for Fall 2026 (Aug-Dec) and Spring 2027 (Jan-Jun).
Investment Intern (Private Equity)
As an Investment Intern at Hartwall Capital, you will have the opportunity to conduct independent research and analysis on potential investment opportunities and market trends, as well as assist the deal teams with analysis on the existing portfolio companies. You will work alongside our investment professionals and contribute your ideas and insights to team meetings. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and exposure to various aspects of the private investment industry.
Equity Research Intern (Listed Equities)
As Equity Research Intern (Listed Equities) at Hartwall Capital, you will support the team analyzing publicly listed equities and gain hands-on experience in financial markets, company analysis, and investment decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and exposure to various aspects of listed equities and equity research.
We value individuals who are passionate about the investment industry and committed to continuous learning and development. To qualify for this opportunity, you must be pursuing a degree in finance, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field, ideally with 1-2 years left in your studies. Strong analytical and research skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required. Previous experience in consulting, equities or investment banking is considered an advantage.
The working hours are flexible, with the goal of full-time work during the first few weeks, and a minimum of 20 hours per week after the onboarding process. The part-time position is designed to be flexible, allowing interns to study while working. The exact duration and timing of the internship will be agreed upon during the interview process. We expect our interns to primarily work from our office in Helsinki, with the possibility of occasional remote work.
