Private Equity Academy

PE Academy is a 5-part event series set to take you through the different phases of the PE investment process. The programme consists of 4 excursions with our 4 Academy partners, each providing a piece of the PE puzzle. In the final Case & Dinner -event you will get to test your learnings through a case covering all 4 stages, and pitch your analysis to our corporate partners.

Interview invitations for internship positions (CapMan and Norvestor) and one-on-one mentoring sessions (Sponsor Capital and Tesi) will be offered by our corporate partners to the best performing participants (performance assessed through the final case).

This is your exclusive opportunity to build the foundation for your career in PE, gain valuable industry insights, and connect with the top professionals in the field.

The programme is targeted towards students motivated to learn more about private equity and see it as a potential field to work in.

Tue. 9.4. at 17.00 – Valuation Methods with Norvestor

Thu. 25.4. at 18.00 – Portfolio Management and Development with Sponsor Capital

Fri. 3.5. at 09.00 – Limited Partner (LP) Point of View and Raising Funds with Tesi

Tue. 7.5. at 17.00 – Case & Dinner -event with all corporate partners

Event series in detail

Venue: 

  • The first 4 excursions held at the corporate partners’ offices (details announced later)

  • Final Case & Dinner -event hosted by AaltoPEC (details announced later)

Application: 

  • Apply by submitting your CV and a short Letter of Motivation/ Cover Letter (Max. 1 page each)

  • The Letter of Motivation should include a brief description of relevant experiences/achievements, what makes you a suitable candidate for this programme, and your motivation toward private equity

  • Note: CVs are distributed to Academy partners 

  • Deadline for applications is Sunday 24th of March

  • CapMan and Norvestor are offering interview invitations for internship roles

  • Sponsor Capital and Tesi are offering one-on-one mentoring sessions with PE professionals 

  • Interviews and mentoring sessions are offered to the best-performing participants

  • Performance is assessed in the final case (Case & Dinner -event), which tests participants’ learnings from the programme (no other preparation required)

  • Participants will be informed about the results by corporate partners after the programme end
