Private Equity Academy 2026
Private Equity Academy is a five-part event series designed to guide participants through the key stages of the private equity investment process. The academy combines company-led sessions, hands-on learning and close interaction with leading private equity professionals. The program consists of four exclusive sessions hosted by our corporate partners, each focusing on a core aspect of private equity investing. The academy culminates in a Case & Dinner event, where participants will apply their learnings in a real-world private equity case and present their analysis to representatives from all partner organisations.
Throughout the program, professionals from CapMan, Norvestor, Sponsor Capital, and Danske Bank will share their expertise, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of deal sourcing, valuation, value creation and exits. The final case challenges participants to integrate these learnings and develop a well-founded investment recommendation in a realistic private equity setting.
Top-performing participants will have the opportunity to be considered for mentoring or interview opportunities with our corporate partners.
Who should apply?
The program is designed for motivated students who are interested in private equity and are considering it as a potential career path. Participants will gain a practical understanding of the private equity investment process while engaging with industry professionals in a structured and interactive environment.

Venue:
The first four sessions are held at the corporate partners’ offices (details announced later).
The Case & Dinner event is hosted by AaltoPEC (details announced later).
Application:
Apply by submitting your CV and a short Letter of Motivation/ Cover Letter (Max. 1 page each).
The Letter of Motivation should include a brief description of relevant experiences/achievements, what makes you a suitable candidate for this programme, and your motivation toward private equity.
Note: CVs and Letters of Motivation are distributed to corporate partners.
