Warburg Pincus PE Analyst Programme 2027

Warburg Pincus is looking for its next class of Analysts to join the firm's London office in August 2027. This is a structured training program that places Analysts directly onto investing deal teams, giving them exposure to every stage of the investment lifecycle - from sourcing and due diligence, through deal execution, to managing and eventually exiting portfolio companies. Each Analyst is assigned to an industry sector, allowing them to build deep expertise in that space over time.

What you'll do:

• Conduct in-depth competitor and industry research

• Perform business due diligence and develop investment recommendations

• Build financial models and prepare investment summaries

• Help manage third-party advisors (consultants, lawyers, tax advisors)

• Support structuring, drafting, and negotiating investment and financing terms

• Assist portfolio companies with strategic planning, capital structure, M&A, and special projects

What they're looking for:

• Strong interest in principal investing and finance

• A desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment

• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis (preferred)

• Analytical thinking, business savvy, and strong communication and leadership skills

• A track record of academic excellence in challenging coursework
